The Grawemeyer Awards 2010 have a prize amount of $200,000 for “ideas, policy proposals, technological advances, program initiatives and research reports that present a well-articulated approach to the advancement of teaching and learning.” The purpose of the awards is to promote ideas for the advancement of educational practice. It rewards and provides recognition to the ideas and proposals of the people working on educational practices around the world.
Under this award, only nominations are invited. Nominees can include both NGOs and individuals working on educational best practices in any part of the world. To enter this competition, a nomination letter along with the completed nomination form, available at this link has to be submitted after which the nominee will be contacted to submit additional materials for review.
