Changemakers.net, the initiative of Ashoka has launched yet another competition in the field of health. The competition is organized in collaboration with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and it is open to all types of organizations including NGOs around the world. The competition invites “nudges – innovative little pushes – that help people make better decisions regarding their own health and the health of others. Basically, the competition seeks some innovative solutions adopted by NGOs and other organizations for improving the health conditions of the people. The competition is announced annually. Organizations need to demonstrate innovativeness of their health approaches in their applications. The entries can be made through the online at the Changemakers.net website. The winning applicants receive US $5000 award each in addition to other offers. The last date for submitting applications is 1 April 2009. More information is available at this link.
