Deep Welfare Organization works to break cycles of violence, hatred and despair by providing psychological, emotional and educational support to the survivors of conflict. Deep Welfare Organization focuses its activities on children and young people, who have the greatest capacity to transcend the conflicts of their communities and to bring about change in the future.
Deep Welfare Organization provides emotional support for victims of violence, hatred and despair within communities. This support is offered thorough the provision of ‘safe havens’. In these safe and supportive environments, those who are most vulnerable can begin to feel comfortable.
When poverty, desperation and despair create conflict often children and young people choose or are forced to leave family and try to make their own way in the world. For many this leads to life on the streets where they face illness, malnutrition, conflict with the law, isolation from society and violence.
Our programmes in NCT Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh & Uttar Pradesh focus on prevention and rehabilitation of street children; working with the local community, families and children to tackle the problems that lead to children going to the street and enabling those already there to find their way back to home and society.
