• To provide a comprehensive picture of the current state of affairs on various social and developmental issues in India
• To highlight the efforts being made by NGOs, companies and individuals to tackle each issue
• To provide a comprehensive database of NGOs and private efforts on each issue, including contact details
• To provide a platform wherein ‘needy’ people – either the ‘less privileged ’, NGOs or private individuals working for a social cause can communicate about what they need
• To enable concerned citizens or corporate entities to contribute to the cause of their choice by directly linking them with the respective NGOs/ individuals working in that field or with the needy
