Objectives of the Organization

The objectives of the society are generally to promote throughout the country
all aspects of social work and in particular to aid and ensure the participation and coordination of surplus technical personnel in development in accordance with the national policy, an integrated approach to solve the problems of developing rural communities, give facilities for community development of backward areas and to provide incentives and equipment to attract educated youth to rural development services and to undertake research in science or applied science related to the work of the centre. To emphasis the importance of an integrated approach to rural development from a rural base ,raise consciousness among under privileged groups to promote self reliant community development and ascertain or democratic rights, to established multipurpose training centre for the grass root functionaries
