Adharshila is a young NGO based in New Delhi, India whose mission is to build foundations at the grassroots level with dedication and sincerity.

Adharshila’s founders, Ms. Neena Jolly and Ms. Geeta Arora started the NGO in October 2004 with the aim of ensuring sustainable slum development. The NGO works for the uplift of the underprivileged section of society by striving to empower and enable them, especially women, through our vocational training programs, social justice initiatives, advocating human rights, counseling and awareness workshops. Adharshila’s strength lies in building partnerships with fellow NGOs, Corporates, Government Organisations, Civil Society, National and International Organizations. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act with special tax exemptions under section 80 G of the Income Tax Act 1961 and under Foreign Currency Regulation Act.
