Centre for Community Initiatives (CCI) is a registered society working with people having physical and learning disabilities and with their parents. CCI helps transform lives by removing the barriers to independence through community initiatives and support.

As an organisation devoted to differently abled persons, CCI focuses on work related skills development and training, family support services, help confidence building towards independence, getting involved in mapping positive and supportive environment for disabled people. We share, listen, commit ourselves and work towards building a responsive society in which differently and potentially abled people grow in self-esteem and enjoy full participation in community life.

CCI facilitates and empowers parents, disabled persons with practical support and counselling; equipped them through vocational training and rehabilitation programs; conducts assessment and identification surveys for disabled persons; creates awareness and campaigns; and encourage schools for inclusive education. Nevertheless, CCI is determine, in future, to run a special school that caters and sustain more disabled young children thereby filling in the gaps of discrepancy in society.
