Kuttanadu Vikasana Samithy

Working for the comprehensive development of Kuttanadu, a below sea level region in Kerala State. Paddy and fisheries are major source of income. Salinity intrusion, frequent flood, acidity, toxicity etc problems. Drinking water is a great problem. Women, farmers, laborers, children etc are our target groups. We fight for the conservation of environment and campaign against water pollution. SHGs for women farmers, old aged ones etc are being formed. Income generation programmes are promoted in these groups. Promotion of Organic farming is our major activity.
