About us : Spastics Society of Tiruvannamalai is a non governmental organization committed to empower the differently-abled in all walks of life and to bring socio-economic changes among the marginalized community with special focus to deserved sections of people. SPASTM was established in 1990 and registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act and FCRA. Vision : Vision: Ensure the quality of life of every person with spastics and mental retardation is as equal as normal human being and empowers them to live independently to the maximum extent possible. Mission : Objectives:

To? empower the spastic and mentally retarded people to lead dignified life and ensure the rights bestowed on them.
To gain social recognition for the Children? with extraordinary abilities.
To address the? problems of differently abled and there by to ensure the rights of disabled.
To care, counsel, advocate for? the social security of the special people in terms of education, health, economic and well being etc.,
? To create awareness among the general public about the emotional and physical sentiments of the differently abled and bring social consciousness among the community to respect the dignity of the differently abled.
To? empower women, children and the marginalized sections of people in order to secure equality, equity and wellbeing.
To improve good relationship between? extraordinary and ordinary people in the society and live as one community.
