Profile:Trust for Integrated Sustainable Development-TISD had been promoted as an informal working team since 2000 and was registered on 25th September 2003 under Indian Trust Act. It had completed six years and put its best foot in the seventh year. The Executive body has experts in different fields such as Health, Sanitation, Agriculture, Forestry, Medicinal plants, Soil and Water conservation, Waste water Management, Environmental up gradation, Women Empowerment and Rural Community Development. The trustees are committed to disseminate appropriate technologies for the improvement of the disadvantaged rural poor. We have carried out several development programmes focusing on Health, Sustainable agriculture, Social Welfare, Income Generation, Environmental up gradation etc, in our service area in Dindigul district for the up liftment of the rural community.

Mission: Our mission is “to empower the rural communities with rural technologies to conserve and protect their environment, to build and develop their own infrastructure according to their requirement, to solve their problems and manage all issues on their own.
Status: The Trust has a group of three trustees and five executive members. It is a women headed organization and the members are experts in different fields.
